Prayers Please

Please Pray for My best friends Father. He was just diagnosed with cancer. He had surgery 2 weeks ago to remove a 6 inch tumor in his back-tests have come back now that it has spread to his lymph nodes. I do not know who all reads this blog, for all those that do-please say prayers for him and his family. He's been married for 30 years and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren. They all need our prayers...

Much Better today

Well I woke up to AF...which wasn't a surprise-but my mood is much better today then it was yesterday. I was technically supposed to get it yesterday morning-so when I didn't-I took a HPT on my lunch break. Obviously it was negative. Not that I was expecting any different-but hey we all like surprises. I swear-I'm awful the few days before I get my period. Poor Mike-I feel so bad for him during those times. But he's survived so far....hopefully it doesn't get to much worse for him.

UGH!! I hate days like this!

Why!?!?!? I just dont' understand myself sometimes. We had a great weekend. We spent it in GF for a wedding of 2 very good friends, and came back Sunday afternoon. By late Sunday afternoon I was crabby, depressed, upset, on the verge of tears and an anxiety attack I felt like. Some of it may be because I'm due to get AF tomorrow-and thats what hormones will do to you.. but I hate it! When you feel so down and you can't pinpoint what is making you that way its the worst thing ever!!!

I really wanted to call in to work today and stay home and cuddle on the couch all day with Daisy-but I couldn't. THANK GOODNESS I HAVE MEMORIAL DAY OFF!!! It will be a good long weekend!!

I'm hoping this passes-because I hate this feeling-and poor Mike-he doesn't know what to do with me-when I get like this-cause I just get snappy at him. Luckily he's some what used to my moodyness. But that doesn't make me feel any better!!

Hmmm

While I wish my life was entertaining and exciting-I must say the past few weeks of have been kind of blah. But honestly-I'm TOTALLY FINE WITH THAT!!! It's been so enjoyable to have a very uneventful past few weeks. Mike and I have had enjoyable nights at home with the pup and walking with her and just spending time together. It's been great.

I suppose any news-is well-news. So as for "news" let's see....The fam is coming up in just a few short weeks and I'm SO EXCITED!!! It's become an annual trip. So for as long as Mike and I live here-they will make the trip here to see us. Taking the girls to the museums, and this year-the fire hall-since every 3 and 4 year old GIRL has an obsession with firetrucks....right??? :)
Also, I have decided to go back to school....well I've decided....there will be a bit more discussion with Mike. For what....PHOTOGRAPHY! :) YAY!! I've been thinking about it for awhile-and a friend of mine referred me to a great program that I can do online. So I thought what the heck-I'll try it. After all of the weddings I've done and babies, and family portraits-I think its about time I start getting paid for this stuff....so here's off to a new adventure in my life.

So news....while its not exciting-is I guess news. So there you have it...my news :)

Baby Shower....I DID IT!!

It actually was much easier than I anticipated it would be. And I actually had a bit of fun. A lot of people showed up and she got so many nice things. And she had a good time-which is equally important.

I was afraid I would have a hard time being there watching her open all of her baby gifts and seeing all of the cute outfits and little necessities-but it was easier than I thought it would be.

Now-on to the next one that I'm doing in June. Hopefully that one will be just as easy.

Done for the week...

Unfortunately not for something good...

Mike's grandma passed away last weekend and we are now heading out for the prayer service and reviewal. All of his family will be here from out of town-which I know he's excited to see-but unfortunately not for something like this. We're greatful that we have friends in the area so we can stay with them and bring Daisy. Saves us money on Gas and a hotel.

Speaking of money...we are doing great with our budgeting. We are on track to be debt free within a year. Thats a great feeling! :) And a relief!

I called and talked to M last night on her birthday...what a doll. She's to darn cute-but I dont' know many 3 year olds that aren't. Esp. when she says she got cash for her birthday-and that she likes cash. :) Honestly does a 3 year old know what cash is :) this one obviously does.

Hopefully this weekend will prove to be enjoyable. We are both working on Saturday-and I am doing a baby shower on Sunday. It should be a good time!
